Pre-Dawn Pickup & Tea on the West Bank
You are collected from your hotel or Nile cruise before sunrise, usually between 4:30 and 5:30 am depending on the season, and taken to the river, where a boat carries you across to the West Bank launch field. While the crew fills the balloons with hot air, enjoy tea or coffee and a short safety briefing from your licensed pilot. Watching dozens of balloons glow and rise in the half-light is an unforgettable start to the day.
Sunrise Hot Air Balloon Flight over Luxor
Lift off gently as the sun rises over the eastern desert. For about 40 to 60 minutes you drift over the Theban necropolis, with views of Hatshepsut's temple, the Colossi of Memnon, Medinet Habu, the Ramesseum and the green patchwork of fields along the Nile, and, if the wind allows, across the river to Karnak and Luxor Temple. After a smooth landing in the fields, the crew celebrates your flight, and you are driven back to your hotel in time for breakfast.
