Desert Safari Around Luxor by Quad, 4x4 or Camel
Your guide collects you from your hotel and drives you to the edge of the desert that frames the Nile valley. Choose how you want to explore: on a quad bike, by 4x4 through the rocky wadis, or on a camel trek across the sand. The landscape is dramatic, with limestone cliffs and wide views back over the green strip of the river, and there is a good chance of spotting desert foxes, lizards and birds of prey along the way.
Lunch & Sunset over the Theban Hills
Stop for lunch and a rest, then continue exploring as the heat of the day fades. The highlight is sunset, when the cliffs glow orange and the sky turns pink and gold above the Theban hills, before you head back to your hotel. Wear closed shoes, and bring your passport, sunglasses and a scarf to protect against sand and dust.
