Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Luxor & Karnak Temples and the Sound & Light Show
Leave Aswan early for the drive of about four hours north to Luxor with your English-speaking guide. Visit Luxor Temple in the heart of the city, then, after lunch, explore Karnak, the largest temple complex in the world, with its Great Hypostyle Hall and Sacred Lake. Check in to your 5-star hotel, then return to Karnak in the evening for the Sound & Light Show, a walk through the illuminated temple followed by a seated finale beside the lake.
Day 2: Optional Felucca to Banana Island & Return to Aswan
After breakfast, you have the option of a relaxing felucca sail to Banana Island, where you can walk through the plantations and taste fresh fruit (at extra cost). Then check out and drive back to your hotel or cruise ship in Aswan in a private, air-conditioned vehicle.
